HEALTH & SAFETY MODULE 2 (6pm-8pm)

There has never been a more important time to undertake Health & Safety Training. All stewards are asked to complete Health & Safety training to enable you to support members in the workplace and to secure time off to do so. This is particularly important for those in the private/voluntary sector.

This course covers the legislation, risk assessments, workplace inspections, various areas of health and safety such as physical environment, equipment, loan working and work related stress.

Being a Health & Safety rep. entitles you to time off for trade union duties. You must complete Modules 1 & 2.

This course is accredited by SERC (South Eastern Regional College).
