Interpretation of blood results

The taking of blood samples, their laboratory analysis and evaluation plays a major role in
helping the healthcare practitioner to both recognise and monitor disease and its treatment
in the human body. This tutorial will use a teaching and learning tool to help provide a
general understanding of the cellular and chemical composition of the blood, how this
composition is maintained and examples of how the composition of blood can become
compromised in some of the more common diseases. Delivered by Wesley Sterling, HEI Tutor
