CANCELLED -Palliative Care – An Introduction for Homecare, Care Assistants & Nursing Auxs

This half day workshop will be of particular relevance to members working in homecare, care homes and hospital settings.   It seeks to develop the knowledge, understanding and application of palliative care principles across the various care settings.   Focusing on the physical, psychological, social and spiritual nature of palliative care,  it will explore the issues associated with caring for this group of patients and their families.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to reflect on current practice, discuss and share learning in order to enhance future palliative care practice.   It will be delivered by NI Hospice
