Introduction to Management

This session provides an introduction to management for anyone within a health and social
care setting who has, or is about to have, responsibility for the work performance of one
or more people. Rooted in current best-practice, it will examine the main constituents of
management, and how to get the best from yourself and your colleagues.

This short course will be delivered by Áine MacNamara, RGN, BSc (Hons) Nursing, PG Dip
Management (IHSM), MSc, PGCE (Nursing).
