Climate Change get Organised

Session 1 – Preparing soil for Spring
Take Back the City – Training for UNISON members.
Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. It can seem overwhelming,
but all over the world communities are taking the lead, responding with what they have to
nourish the land they love.
UNISON College have teamed up with Take Back the City to offer a seasonal program for
UNISON members to gain experience from community responses to climate change. Sign up
to get your hands dirty in community settings. Learn how to transform vacant space into a
beautiful garden, grow your own food and support our natural habitats.
Members will be immersed in the changing seasonal work at various locations in Belfast.
Members are welcome to bring children and family to these sessions. Please let us know if you intend to.
These sessions are weather dependent the date or time or venue may change due to
weather conditions.
