Addiction – Understanding Prescription/Over The Counter Drugs Misuse

This course will give participants with an understanding of how prescription and over the counter medicines are misused. It will provide an overview of the types of medicines as well as information on the prevalence, effects, risks to the user, harm reduction methods and services available. It is relevant to anyone who works/volunteers with those with addiction issues, with young people and also may be of interest to parents
